Il appelait tous ses avions de chasse "Scat" ( P-38's, quatre P-51's et 27 27 ans plus tard F-4 Phantom )
Special decoration applied to a Raython T-6A "Texan II" of 47th Flying Training Wing (47FTW) - 434th Fighter Training Squadron (434FTS) of the United States Air Force (USAF) based in Laughlin Air Force Base and bearing a special mark for the 75th anniversary (1943/2018) and Honors Brigadier General Robin Olds, a "triple ace", with a combined total of 16 victories in World War II and the Vietnam War. He named all of his fighters "Scat" ( P-38's, four P-51's & then 27 years later flying F-4)
