Le logo aux trois avions fait le lien entre le présent, le passé et le futur. La silhouette du "Spitfire" fait référence au premier avion de chasse exploité par la Force Aérienne Belge. L'avion du milieu, le F-16, symbolise les déploiements contemporains des moyens et personnels en opération. Le F-35 est déjà un clin d'œil à l'avenir.

Kingsley "Medal of Honor"- La dérive verticale porte une image du lieutenant David R. Kingsley, qui a reçu à titre posthume la médaille d'honneur pour l'héroïsme pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Kingsley Field à Klamath Falls, Oregon, a été nommé d'après le natif de l'Oregon en 1957, et la peinture de cet avion rend hommage à sa mémoire. Special Special marking commemorate David R. Kingsley "Medal of Honor"- The vertical tail of the new 173rd Fighter Wing flagship bears an image of Lt. David R. Kingsley, who posthumously received the Medal of Honor for heroism during World War II. Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Ore., was named after the Oregon native in 1957, and the paint scheme on this aircraft pays homage to his memory.
