Décoration spéciale appliquée sur un Lockheed Martin F-35A "Lightning II" du 302 Hikotaï - Hokubu Koku Homentai de la Force Aérienne d'Auto-Défense Japonaise (Japan Air Self-Defense Force - JASDF) basé à Misawa AB et portant un marquage "301 FS since 1974" sur la trappe de train avant, un insigne géant en couleur dans la dérive et un marquage special sur les flancs pour les 50 ans du squadron en 2024. La raison pour laquelle on utilise le pygargue à queue comme motif est que cette unité a été initialement établie sur la base aérienne de Chitose à Hokkaido. De plus, lors de la création du dessin, nous avons utilisé non seulement le visage du pygargue à queue blanche, mais également ses ailes et sa queue entières pour imiter les numéros d'unité « 3 (ailes), » « 0 (queue) » et « '2 (jambes)'. The reason for using the tailed eagle as a motif is that this unit was originally established at Chitose Air Base in Hokkaido. Additionally, when creating the design, we used not only the white-tailed eagle's face, but also its entire wings and tail to imitate the unit numbers '3 (wings),' '0 (tail) » and “'2 (legs)'.
