Demo "Hornets" - 75 years VFA-15 "Valions" & VFA-122 "Flying Eagles" Marine Capt Jeff Kuss memory

La société Twobobs Aviation Graphic a édité une planche de decal pour réaliser les décorations spéciales appliquées sur deux "Hornet".

La première pour un McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C "Hornet" du Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) du Strike Fighter Squadron 106 (VFA-106) "Gladiators" de l'US Navy (USN) basé à Naval Air Station Oceana avec un marquage spécial commémorant les couleurs du VA-15 lorsqu'il volait sur A-7E "Corsair IIs" en 1970 pour les 75 ans du Strike Fighter Squadron 15 (VFA-15) "Valions"

La deuxième pour un Boeing F/A-18F "Rhino" du Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) du Strike Fighter Squadron 122 (VFA-122) "Flying Eagles" de l'US Navy (USN) basé à Naval Air Station Lemoore avec un marquage spécial en mémoire du Marine Capt Jeff Kuss, Blue Angels # 6 (opposing aircraft) qui est mort le 2 juin 2016 après que son "Super Hornet" s'est écrasé peu de temps après le décollage.

The Twobobs Aviation Graphic society edited a plate of decal to accomplish special decorations applied to two "Hornet".

The first one for McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C "Hornet" of the Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) of the Strike Fighter Squadron 106 (VFA-106) "Gladiators" of US Navy (USN) based in Naval Air Station Oceana with a special marking memorializing the colours of VA-15 when it stole on A-7E "Corsair IIs" in 1970 for the 75 years of the Strike Fighter Squadron 15 (VFA-15) "Valions".

The second for Boeing F/A-18F "Rhino" of the Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) of the Strike Fighter Squadron 122 (VFA-122) "Flying Eagles" of US Navy (USN) based in Naval Air Station Lemoore with a special marking to the memory of Marine Capt Jeff Kuss, Blue Angels # 6 (opposing aircraft) who died on June 2nd, 2016 after his "Super Hornet" crashed shortly after takeoff.
