L'équipe a été créée pour célébrer le centenaire du Canada en 1967.

Special decoration applied to Canadair CT-114 "Tutor" of the 15 Wing - 431 squadron "Snowbirds" of Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) based in CFB Moose Jaw with a special logo to commemorate 50 years of gold (1971/2020) and paying homage to the Golden Centennials aerobatic flying team. The team was created to celebrate Canada's centennial in 1967.
