Rockwell B-1 "Lancer" - 28th Bomb Wing (28 BW) - 80th anniversary of the "Doolittle Raid"

Décoration spéciale "Heritage" appliquée sur un Rockwell B-1 "Lancer" du 28th Bomb Wing (28 BW) de l'Armée de l'Air des Etats-Unis (USAF) basé à Ellsworth Air Force Base et portant un marquage spécial pour honorer le 80e anniversaire du raid Doolittle effectué par 16 B-25 Mitchell de l'USAAF décollant du porte-avions USS Hornet, durant la  guerre du Pacifique. Le Tail Art dans la dérive se compose d'un B-25, d'un patch "Doolittle Raiders" et de" patchs des cinq escadrons Doolittle Raid participants. Une citation ajoutée sur le nez du B-1 disait : "En souvenir des Doolittle Raiders".

Special decoration applied to a Rockwell B-1 "Lancer" of 28th Bomb Wing (28 BW) of the United States Air Force (USAF) based in Ellsworth Air Force Base and bearing a special mark for the to honor the 80th anniversary of the Doolittle Raid by 16 USAAF B-25 Mitchells taking off from the aircraft carrier USS Hornet, during the Pacific War. The tail art consists of a B-25, a Doolittle Raiders patch, and patches from the five participating Doolittle Raid Squadrons - A quote added on the nose of the B-1 read, “In remembrance of the Doolittle Raiders”.
