Décoration spéciale appliquée sur un Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II du Air Test and Evaluation Squadron 23 (VX-23) "Salty Dogs" de l' Aviation Navale Américaine (USN) basé à Naval Air Station Patuxent River avec une décoration spéciale (logo) pour la commémoration de l'essai opérationnel du destroyer JS8 "Kaga" de la classe "Izumo"  de la Force d'autodéfense maritime en 2024. L'octroi d'une capacité opérationnelle du F35B au destroyer de classe "Izumo" améliorera encore l'interopérabilité entre le Japon et les États-Unis.

Special decoration applied to a Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II of Air Test and Evaluation Squadron 23 (VX-23) "Salty Dogs" of the United States Naval Aviation (USN) based at Naval Air Station Patuxent River with a special decoration (logo ) for the commemoration of the operational trial of the Maritime Self-Defense Force's "Izumo" class JS8 "Kaga" destroyer in 2024. Granting operational capability of the F35B to the 'Izumo' class destroyer will further enhance interoperability between Japan and the United States.
