Nose art appliqué sur plusieurs McDonnell Douglas F-15Es "Eagle" du 48th Fighter Wing (48FW) - 492th Fighter Squadron "The Bolars/Madhatters" (492FS) de l' US Air Force Europe (USAFE) basé à RAF Lakenheath, UK arborant une fois de plus quelques surnoms uniques et des arts du nez intéressants (qui sont devenus une tradition pour les unités Strike Eagle déployées depuis un certain temps) et de retour de l'opération Epic Fury en 2026. (00-3001 “Nessie”, 91-0329 “Kraken”, 97-0221 “Yeti”, 01-2001 “Chupacabra”, 91, 0331 “Cthulhu”, 91-0309 “Cerberus” & 96-0205 “Sirenhead”). Tous les appareils arborent un nombre important de marquages JDAM (Joint Direct Attack Munition) ; deux d’entre eux, « Cerberus » et « El Jefe », sont également peints avec ce qui semble être des silhouettes d’AGM-158 JASSM (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile). Il convient de noter que les huit premiers appareils ne paraissent pas arborer de marquages APKWS II.
Nose art featured on several McDonnell Douglas F-15E "Eagle" aircraft of the 48th Fighter Wing (48FW) – 492nd Fighter Squadron "The Bolars/Madhatters" (492FS) of the U.S. Air Force in Europe (USAFE), based at RAF Lakenheath, UK, once again featuring some unique nicknames and interesting nose art (which has become a tradition for Strike Eagle units for some time now) and returning from Operation Epic Fury in 2026. (00-3001 “Nessie,” 91-0329 “Kraken,” 97-0221 “Yeti,” 01-2001 “Chupacabra,” 91-0331 “Cthulhu,” 91-0309 “Cerberus,” and 96-0205 “Sirenhead”). All the aircraft sport a significant number of JDAM (Joint Direct Attack Munition) markings, with two of them, “Cerberus” and “El Jefe,” also painted with what appear to be AGM-158 JASSM (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile) silhouettes. Noteworthy, the first eight aircraft don’t seem to sport any APKWS II markings
