Cette décoration a été appliquée pour marquer la fin de l'utilisation du Mirage F1-C par l'escadron lors de son dernier vol dans le cadre de l'opération Épervier au Tchad en 1990.
The company FFSMC Productions has just released a decal sheet to achieve special marking applied to a Dassault Mirage F1-C-200 (No. 205 (5-OE) of Fighter Squadron 3/5 (EC 3/5) "Comtat Venaissin" based at Orange-Caritat Air Base 115 "Capitaine de Seynes" with a commemorative decoration, including a skull and crossbones on a black pennant (ERC 571). This decoration was applied to mark the end of the Mirage F1-C's service with the squadron during its last flight as part of Operation Épervier in Chad in 1990.
