Décoration spéciale appliquée sur le McDonnell Douglas F/A-18D du Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 112 (VMFA-112) "Cowboys" du Marine Aircraft Group 41 (MAG-41) - 4th Marine Aircraft Wing (4th MAW) basé à Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base sur l'avion "250/164874" pour commémorer les 250 ans du Marine Corps (1775/2025). L'avion 250 a été peint pour illustrer la riche histoire du Marine Corps et de l'aviation marine à voilure fixe. Le schéma de peinture de l'avion met l'accent sur les étapes historiques de l'histoire du Corps des Marines, depuis nos racines à Tun Tavern jusqu'à la devise actuelle du Corps des Marines "Semper Fidelis". Sur l'extérieur des stabilisateurs verticaux, on peut voir le drapeau américain hissé au sommet du mont Suribachi, sur l'île d'Iwo Jima, et sur l'intérieur des stabilisateurs verticaux, on peut voir le premier et l'actuel aigle, le globe et l'ancre. L'aigle, le globe et l'ancre de l'ancienne marine sont peints sur les deux côtés de l'avion, remplaçant l'étoile et les rayures que l'on trouve habituellement sur les avions américains. L'hymne des Marines, qui est fièrement chanté chaque année par les anciens et les actuels, est centré sur les aérofreins de l'avion. Le 250 rend hommage au premier commandant, le major Samual Nicholas, et au premier sergent-major du corps des Marines, le sergent-major Wilbur Bestwick, en lieu et place des noms des membres d'équipage figurant sur la verrière. Sur le rail de la verrière opposée, les noms de l'actuel Commandant général Eric Smith @SgtMaj of the Marine Corpsdant et du SgtMaj Carlos Ruiz @usmcsgtmaj ont été peints. Sur la partie inférieure des ailes extérieures, le 250 est décoré des noms de tous les escadrons qui ont piloté le F/A-18 au cours de sa longue période de service en tant que principal avion de combat de l'escadre aérienne des Marines. Le 250 porte également les noms de tous les équipages qui ont fait le sacrifice ultime pour le corps d'armée et une nation reconnaissante, en pilotant le F/A-18 à travers le monde. Ce jet rend hommage à l'héritage de Milwaukee et aux racines locales de l'unité, et est l'un des plus anciens, sinon le plus ancien, ravitailleur KC-135 de la flotte. Le nouveau design comprend une grande "Biére" stein volant sur la queue, les marquages "Milwaukee" et "Brew City Tankers", et une bande du Strategic Air Command (SAC) avec des constellations d'étoiles et le bouclier de l'aile traversant le fuselage. The jet pays tribute to the unit's Milwaukee heritage and local roots, and is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, KC-135 tanker in the fleet. The new design includes a large flying stein on the tail, the markings “Milwaukee” and “Brew City Tankers,” and a Strategic Air Command (SAC) stripe with star constellations and the wing’s shield running across the fuselage. The paint scheme also incorporates blue and yellow to represent the unit’s shield, the Milwaukee flag, and the Milwaukee Brewers. Additional details include barley artwork, eyebrow paint, and Crew Chief name blocks with the outline of Wisconsin
