Special decoration applied to a Beechcraft T-6A "Texan II" belonging to Training Air Wing Six (CTW-6 or TRAWING 6) - Training Squadron 10 (VT-10) "Wildcat" of the United States Navy based at Naval Air Station Pensacola with special markings inspired by VF-27 and their F6F Hellcats aboard the USS Princeton (CVL-23), the design honors the squadron’s Pacific theater service and features the iconic “Cat’s Mouth” nose art. The updated artwork includes a cat-like pupil and a green iris nod to the Training Squadron TEN: VT-10 Wildcats. With its white underbelly and gray-to-blue ombré finish, the scheme blends modern projection technology with legacy pounce pattern techniques to precisely align the artwork on both sides of the aircraft.

Décoration spéciale appliquée sur un Boeing/McDonnell-Douglas T-45C "Goshawk" du Training Air Wing SIX (CTW-6 or TRAWING 6) de la Marine de guerre des États-Unis (United States Navy - USN) basé à Naval Air Station Pensacola avec un marquage special anciennement peint sur le F-4 Phantom, il rend hommage à l'histoire de la marine américaine et à l'héritage des avions à réaction au fil des ans. Ce T-45A est peint aux couleurs d'un F-4J du VF-96 qui, le 10 mai 1972, a abattu trois MIG nord-vietnamiens en un seul vol. L'officier chargé de l'interception radar (RIO) était le lieutenant (jg) Willie Driscoll, en l'honneur duquel cet avion a été peint. Tous les futurs RIO sont formés par le TAW-6 et reçoivent leurs ailes à la NAS Pensacola. Cet avion était exposé dans le cadre de la cérémonie de passation de commandement du Training Air Wing Six au National Naval Aviation Museum
Special decoration applied to a Boeing/McDonnell-Douglas T-45C "Goshawk" belonging to Training Air Wing SIX (CTW-6 or TRAWING 6) of the United States Navy based at Naval Air Station Pensacola with a special marking formerly painted on the F-4 Phantom, it pays tribute to the history of the US Navy and the legacy of jet aircraft over the years. This T-45A is painted in the markings worn by a VF-96 F-4J on 10 May 1972 that shot down three North Vietnamese MIGs on one flight. The Radar Intercept Officer (RIO) was LT(jg) Willie Driscoll, in whose honor this was done. All prospective RIOs are trained by TAW-6 and receive their wings at NAS Pensacola. This aircraft was on display in conjunction with the Training Air Wing Six Change of Command Ceremony at the National Naval Aviation Museum.

En 1952, le lieutenant Williams a affronté à lui seul 7 MiG-15 soviétiques, en abattant quatre lors d'un combat aérien. Sa précédente distinction, la Navy Cross, a été remplacée par la Médaille d'honneur en 2023.

In 1952, Lieutenant Williams single-handedly took on seven Soviet MiG-15s, shooting down four in aerial combat. His previous award, the Navy Cross, was replaced by the Medal of Honor in 2023.
