La Lituanie a remis un drone de combat à l'Ukraine après une campagne de financement participatif privée parmi les Lituaniens ordinaires, qui ont levé près de 6 millions d'euros (6,1 millions de dollars américains) à cette fin en quelques jours. Le succès de la campagne a inspiré la société de défense turque Baykar, qui fabrique le drone Bayraktar TB2, à le fournir gratuitement. Une partie de l'argent collecté en Lituanie a été utilisée pour armer le drone, et le reste sera acheminé vers l'Ukraine pour répondre aux 'besoins critiques', a déclaré le gouvernement lituanien.

The campaign's success inspired Turkish defense company Baykar, which manufactures the Bayraktar TB2 drone, to provide it for free. Part of the money raised in Lithuania was used to arm the drone, and the rest will be flown to Ukraine to meet 'critical needs', the Lithuanian government said.
