Cette année marque le 80e anniversaire de la bataille de Normandie et le squadron a décidé de rendre hommage en reproduisant le même motif de camouflage du Hawker Typhoon du 257° Escadron qui a combattu en juin 1944. L'avion porte les lettres FM-G, FM était le lettrage du 257° Escadron de la RAF, et le dernier avion à porter le FM-G était piloté par le chef d'escadron Denzil Jenkins.
Special marking "RAF 100" applied to a EF2000 Eurofighter "Typhoon" FGR4 of the 29(R) squadron - 1 Group (Air Combat) RAF - Typhoon Display Team of Royal Air Force (RAF) based at RAF Coningsby for Solo Display 2024. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Normandy and the squadron decided to pay tribute by reproducing the same camouflage pattern of the Hawker Typhoon of 257 Squadron which fought in June 1944. The aircraft bears the letters FM-G, FM was the lettering of 257 Squadron of the RAF, and the last aircraft to carry the FM-G was flown by Squadron Leader Denzil Jenkins.
