Décoration spéciale appliquée sur un Douglas C-47B-DK "Skytrain" basé à Greenwood Military Aviation Museum de l' Aviation royale canadienne (RCAF) pour les 100 ans du RCAF. Le Dakota KN451 (Ex USAF/RAF) a été acheté par le gouvernement canadien le 7 avril 1946 et rapatrié par avion au Canada et désormais désigné Dakota Mk. UIV ; le « U » désignant un avion d’instruction. Le 1er novembre 1950, le KN451 a été désigné comme cellule d'enseignement à l'école de formation technique de Camp Borden sous le nom de Dakota 655B. En août 1964, il fut transféré au Musée canadien de l'aviation (CAM) à Ottawa où il resta à l'extérieur pendant les 20 années suivantes. Il a quitté le musée en septembre 2023 pour être reconditionné par le 14 Air Maintenance Squadron (14 AMS) à CFB Greenwood. Il vient de réintégré le Greenwood Military Aviation Museum en Aout 2024 sous ces nouvelles couleurs

The Dakota KN451 (ex USAF/RAF) was bought by the Canadian government on April 7, 1946 and repatriated by plane in Canada and now designated Dakota MK. UIV; The "U" designating an instruction plane. On November 1, 1950, the KN451 was appointed as a teaching unit at the Technical Training School of Camp Borden under the name of Dakota 655B. In August 1964, he was transferred to the Canadian Aviation Museum (CAM) in Ottawa where he stayed outside for the next 20 years. He left the museum in September 2023 to be reconditioned by the 14 Air Maintenance Squadron (14 AMS) at CFB Greenwood. He has just reintegrated the Greenwood Military Aviation Museum in August 2024 under these new colors
