New markings applied to the General Dynamics F-16C/D Block 52 “Fighting Falcon” aircraft of the 56th FW – 425th FS “Black Widows” (a joint USAF-RSAF unit) of the Royal Singapore Air Force (RSAF), based at Ebbing Air National Guard Air Base, bearing the “FS” code. Ebbing Air National Guard Air Base has been selected as the location for a multinational training facility for the F-16C/D Fighting Falcon and the F-35A Lightning II. The 188th Wing will become the host unit for these new aircraft.

Décoration spéciale appliquée sur un drone Shiebel Camcopter S-100 des services maritime Belge, déployé récemment sur la base militaire de Lombardsijde et dédiée aux nouvelles capacités MMO (Multipurpose Maritime Operation), réunissant plusieurs agences maritimes européennes et services de garde-côtes.Ce drone Schiebel Camcopter S-100 soutiendra désormais la sécurité maritime en mer du Nord depuis la base de Lombardsijde. Le drone, qui opérait auparavant depuis la France, a été présenté le mardi 19 mai, lors d'une conférence internationale sur les opérations maritimes polyvalentes (OMM), à laquelle ont participé divers services européens de garde-côtes. Les opérations font partie d'un projet transfrontalier soutenu par l'Agence européenne pour la sécurité maritime (EMSA). Depuis un centre opérationnel permanent à Lisbonne, l'EMSA fournit des images satellite et un support technique aux services belges et français. Le MRCC (Maritime Rescue and Coordination Centre) d’Ostende, en charge du sauvetage en mer, ainsi que le MIC (Maritime Information Crosspoint) de Zeebruges, responsable de la coordination sécuritaire côtière, peuvent ainsi exploiter simultanément les données.
Special livery applied to a Schiebel Camcopter S-100 drone belonging to the Belgian Maritime Services, recently deployed at the Lombardsijde base and dedicated to the new MMO (Multipurpose Maritime Operation) capabilities, bringing together several European maritime agencies and coastguard services. This Schiebel Camcopter S-100 drone will now support maritime security in the North Sea from the Lombardsijde base. The drone, which previously operated from France, was unveiled on Tuesday 19 May during an international conference on multipurpose maritime operations (MMO), attended by various European coastguard services. The operations form part of a cross-border project supported by the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA). From a permanent operations centre in Lisbon, EMSA provides satellite imagery and technical support to the Belgian and French services. The MRCC (Maritime Rescue and Coordination Centre) in Ostend, responsible for sea rescue, and the MIC (Maritime Information Crosspoint) in Zeebrugge, responsible for coastal safety coordination, are thus able to utilise the data simultaneously.
