Décoration spéciale appliquée sur un Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawk du Helicopter Wing Karup - Esk 724 de la Danish Air Force (Danske Flyvevåbnet) basé à Karup AB à l'occasion du 75° anniversaire (1950/2025) de la Flyvevåbnet (RDAF, Royal Danish Air Force). La conception commémorative rend hommage aux équipages danois qui ont servi avec les forces alliées pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, en particulier Kaj Birksted, un pilote du Naval Air Service et plus tard un as volant dans le célèbre escadron 331 de la RAF. Biksted a eu une influence dans la formation de l'armée de l'air d'après-guerre du Danemark. Le schéma final présente un fond noir uni avec des bordures dorées, reflétant les couleurs distinctives des badges d'Esk 723 et d'Esk 722. Sur la queue, une ancre stylisée fait référence à l'héritage naval de la RDAF et aux opérations maritimes du MH-60R. Le marquage de l'anniversaire est inscrit le long du fuselage : "Royal Danish Air Force - 1950-2025".
Special marking applied to an AS 550 Fennec C2 Helicopter Wing Karup - Esk 724 of the Danish Air Force (Danske Flyvevåbnet) based at Karup AB to mark the 75th anniversary (1950/2025) of the Flyvevåbnet (RDAF, Royal Danish Air Force). The commemorative design pays tribute to Danish aircrew who served with Allied forces in World War II, particularly Kaj Birksted, a Naval Air Service pilot and later a flying ace in the RAF-famous 331 Squadron. Biksted was influential in shaping Denmark’s postwar air force. The final scheme features a solid black background with gold trim, reflecting the distinctive colors of Esk 723's and Esk 722's name tags. On the tail, a stylised anchor nods to the RDAF’s Naval heritage and the MH-60R’s maritime operations. Inscribed along the fuselage is the anniversary marking: “Royal Danish Air Force - 1950-2025”.
