Décoration spéciale appliquée sur un SH-60F "Shalach" du 193 Taeset "Tayeset Magini Ha Ma'arav/Defenders of the West Squadron" de l'armée de l'air et de l'espace Israélienne (Heyl Ha'Avir) basé à Palmachim Israeli Air Force Base avec un nouveau marquage d'unité pour la réouverture le 28 juillet 2026 de l'escadron 193 qui exploite des hélicoptères maritimes pour le compte de la marine israélienne (Heil Ayam). L’escadron 193, surnommé « Défenseurs de l’Ouest », a été créé à l’origine en 1987 et a exploité des hélicoptères Dolphin, puis Atalef au fil des décennies avant d’être désactivé à la base aérienne de Ramat David en 2025, et de reprendre désormais ses opérations depuis la base aérienne de Palmachim en tant qu’escadron de soutien maritime. Special livery applied to an SH-60F “Shalach” of the 193rd Taeset “Tayeset Magini Ha Ma’arav/Defenders of the West Squadron” of the Israeli Air and Space Force (Heyl Ha’Avir), based at Palmachim Israeli Air Force Base, featuring new unit markings to mark the reopening of 193 Squadron, which operates maritime helicopters on behalf of the Israeli Navy (Heil Ayam), on 28 July 2026. Squadron 193, nicknamed the ‘Defenders of the West’, was originally established in 1987 and operated Dolphin helicopters, then Atalef helicopters over the decades before being decommissioned at Ramat David Air Base in 2025, and is now resuming operations from Palmachim Air Base as a maritime support squadron. The squadron works in coordination with the Navy’s missile boat flotilla, supporting missions such as the protection of strategic assets, the safeguarding of freedom of navigation and the provision of naval fire support.
